TruMark Hosts Credit Unions’ Food Drive

Food Drive supported by Trumark and local credit unions

On Friday, July 14th, Trumark and 14 local credit unions along with a few legislators joined us at our Galloway warehouse to drop off food donations. Last month, during National Hunger Awareness Month, each credit union location joined the fight to end hunger and hosted a Corporate Food Drive to benefit Philabundance. To thank them for their efforts, Philabundance  invited each of them to join us for a special drop off celebration at our Galloway warehouse.

Along with Trumark Credit Union, those in attendance were: American Heritage Federal Credit UnionMerck, Sharpe & Dohme Federal Credit UnionSun East Federal Credit UnionReliance Credit UnionEagle One Federal Credit Union, Freedom Credit UnionUkrainian Self Reliance Federal Credit UnionPenn Credit UnionFranklin Mint Federal Credit UnionTri County Area Federal Credit UnionBHCUSenator Amanda Cappelletti, and State Representative Matt Bradford.

From boxes of pasta to jars of peanut butter and jelly, this event was so successful and altogether 2,384 pounds of food was donated! Thank you all for your generous donations and for helping us provide stability for our neighbors in need! We’re so grateful for your help collecting high-quality groceries to help our neighbors succeed and for your monetary donations.
