Philabundance Appoints Gina Harlan as Chief Financial Officer
Philadelphia, PA, January 4, 2020 – Philabundance, one of Greater Philadelphia’s largest hunger relief organizations, has selected Gina Harlan, MBA as its new Chief Financial Officer. Harlan began her role at the 35-year old nonprofit on November 16.
“Having the honor of serving as Chief Executive Officer for this essential organization, I was very invested in finding a CFO that had a passion for our mission and the expertise to take Philabundance to new heights,” said Philabundance CEO Loree Jones. “I am thrilled to have Gina join the executive leadership team and work alongside her as we drive hunger from our communities today and end hunger for good.”
As CFO, Harlan holds the organization’s top financial leadership position, overseeing all company financial practices including: accounting department policies and procedures; preparation and monitoring of the budget; development of financial reports; and tax filings and management of external/internal audit activities.
Prior to joining Philabundance, Harlan served as the Vice President of Finance at Integrated Fresh Solutions LLC, where she was responsible for the company’s planning, implementation, managing and running of all finance activities. In advance of that position, she was CFO at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. and held finance roles with Magnetic Metals Corporation, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C., BDO Seidman and the Michaels Organization.
Harlan has a B.S. in Accounting and MBA with a concentration in finance from Holy Family University. She lives in South Jersey with her wife and two rescue Chihuahuas.
