We could not do our work without the support of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers from corporations and small businesses throughout our service area and beyond. Whether your business makes a financial contribution to our charitable organization, donates food, or volunteers, you can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need today. Every effort makes a difference!
Throughout the year, we’re hosting a series of inspiring and impactful events to commemorate this milestone and continue our mission to alleviate food insecurity. From fundraising galas to volunteer drives, educational workshops to community outreach initiatives, there’s something for everyone to get involved in. Check out our calendar and be a part of the movement towards a hunger-free future. Together, we can make a difference!
Our 330+ partners provide a lifeline to our communities and help us move food from our warehouses directly to the hands of our neighbors facing food insecurity. This event is an opportunity to recognize their commitment to our communities, identify avenues for future growth, and, at the forefront, thank our partners for everything they do to further our collecve mission to relieve hunger in our community today and end hunger for good.
Philabundance’s Community Partnerships Day focuses on bringing together the groups and individuals that make our mission possible for a day of recognition, ideation, and
celebration!

93.3 WMMR’s Preston & Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger is the nation’s largest single-site food drive. During the 27th Annual, week-long celebration beginning December 1, 2024, Preston & Steve will “camp out” at the Wells Fargo Center complex. They bring their unique brand of fun on the road and broadcast live all week from outside Xfinity Live, encouraging their listeners to support Philabundance by donating food or funds.
The Business Challenge invites local companies to fight against hunger alongside Preston & Steve. Companies compete to see who can donate the most funds and food during Camp Out. See the attached sponsorship levels, and increase your chances of winning the Business Challenge by holding a Food Drive (and dropping off your donations during Camp Out) or a Virtual Food Drive (by inviting your network to support your efforts, virtually).

For the purposes of the contest, cash donations are added to food donations and winners are reported in pounds of food. The conversion rate used for the contest is $1.00 = 3 lbs of food. Winners of the Business Challenge will be announced live on 93.3 WMMR during the Preston & Steve on a few days after the event wraps.
If you’re not one of the top 3 winners, you will be entered into a drawing for an in-person studio visit to a Preston & Steve broadcast in Q1 of 2025. All Business Challenge and Food Drive participants who register before or during Camp Out get entered into a drawing and one lucky participant will get picked at random. Must register to qualify.

In the Justice for the Hungry campaign, law firms will earn points by making corporate gifts, hosting food drives, raising individual funds, and volunteering. To serve those facing hunger, Philabundance needs food, funds, and friends. The following are ways your firm will make a difference by participating in Justice for the Hungry.
When school cafeterias closed their doors last June, Philabundance once again stood with tens of thousands of food-insecure families in the Philadelphia region facing an all too familiar challenge: how would they put breakfast and lunch on the table that summer? The Philabundance Summer LunchBox program offered free, weekly, and fresh Philabundance Community Kitchen (PCK) lunch meals for kids, and healthy, hearty, shelf-stable breakfast kits to help struggling parents make ends meet.
Life Skills Not Just Knife Skills
