Providing meals for our community while helping our students develop the skills and experience to be successful culinary professionals.
At our Commissary Kitchen, students in the Philabundance Community Kitchen (PCK) program are given a hands-on opportunity to give back to our community and those in need by curating and preparing thousands of meals every week. These meals are distributed to children, seniors, individuals experiencing homelessness and in other community settings. We offer meals served as individually prepared servings or for buffet style service. Home delivery may also be available. To inquire about meal contracts please email PCKmeals@philabundance.org.
Are you already in the food industry and looking for a way to expand or differentiate your business? PCK also offers state-of-the-art meal component and value-added processing services. We offer wholesale production to retail sale services as well as production services for new product development. PCK offers the chance to enhance your offerings while providing our students with real-world experience.
“The job training program is serving our neighbors, ultimately. If we ever want to see a permanent end to poverty we actually have to invest in the communities, in the individuals, who are a part of those communities.”
