Philabundance Receives $75,000 Grant from Foxwynd Foundation to Support the Philabundance Food Fund
Philadelphia’s Philabundance Receives a grant to provide high-quality food for people facing food insecurity.
PHILADELPHIA, PA – (2.24.25) – Philabundance is pleased to announce that it has received a generous $75,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation, distributed through the Foxwynd Foundation Donor Advised Fund (DAF). This funding will support the Philabundance Food Fund, a vital initiative dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious, and culturally responsive food to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
The grant will directly enhance Philabundance’s ability to source and distribute fresh fruits, vegetables, and proteins, ensuring that communities across the region have access to nourishing meals. This support aligns with Philabundance’s Good Food Policy, which prioritizes food that is nutritious, culturally relevant, equitably sourced, and accessible to all. As part of its strategic plan through 2026, Philabundance remains focused on increasing the availability of high-quality food while strengthening partnerships with the community.

I am amazed at the quality and quantity of the food I received. Tonight’s dinner was primarily from the food boxes. I made a homemade pizza topped with roasted golden beets, sautéed beet greens, and mozzarella cheese. Your food distribution is a godsend, and very much appreciated.”
