St. Peter’s School Raises More Than 10,000 Lbs Of Food For The Inquirer’s 180,000 Lbs In 180 Days Food Drive
St. Peter’s School in Philadelphia is celebrating its 175th anniversary and in honor of that milestone, the school is giving back to the city by performing 175 Good Deeds between January and June 2009.
The first and fourth grade classes started a food drive in support of The Philadelphia Inquirer’s 180,000 lbs of Food in 180 Days Food Drive for Philabundance. The school’s food drive ended May 27th, when The Campbell Soup Company donated an additional 10,400 lbs of food to match what the students were able to raise.
