Giant Champions Fight Against Hunger
Giant Food Stores donated nearly 2,700 hams to Philabundance on March 27. The donation was part of a larger 10,000 ham donation to food banks and regional hunger organizations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Philabundance will be using this donation of more than 12,000 pounds of food towards The Philadelphia Inquirer Food Drive. The Bernardine Center, an agency of Philabundance in Chester, PA was also in attendance and took home 80 hams for distribution to their local community. |
