Once again Bruce Springsteen has come to Philly and has shown his support for Philabundance!
Once again Bruce Springsteen has come to Philly and has shown his support for Philabundance! Bruce Springsteen came to the Wachovia Spectrum Center on April 28 and 29. While he was here he donated 4 tickets each night for Philabundance to auction. The ticket auction was a resounding success and the first nights winners had a wonderful time dueling tunes with Bruce on each of their cell phones. The winners of the second night enjoyed a back stage tour as well as getting to meet Bruce in person. Philabundance would like to thank Bruce Springsteen again for his support of our organization which included matching funds for the ticket auction. Philabundance would also like to thank the ticket auction winners for their generous support. The ticket auction brought in a total of $47,600.

Deloitte Employees Day of Service at Philabundance
On IMPACT Day, June 6, 2008, 50 dedicated Deloitte employees dedicated their day to help Philabundance. The Deloitte employees sorted 10,840 pounds of donated food which will be distributed to our network of 600 agencies. Employees also painted warehouse areas, stocked shelves and transformed the outdoor landscaping into a beautiful area that visitors, staff and volunteers will enjoy. To celebrate and showcase year-round community involvement activities, many Deloitte member firms designate a day of service, IMPACT Day, to making an impact on the communities where they work and live. Firms often choose to hold their IMPACT Day events in June, the start of the global fiscal year. Leaving the office, conference calls and emails behind, Deloitte employees put their passion, determination and skills to use. They take part in a variety of community investment activities.

PHILABUNDANCE THANKS DELOITTE FOR THEIR TIME, HARD WORK AND COMMITMENT TO THEIR COMMUNITY!
