Empty Bowls Fundraiser at Leary Elementary

The Empty Bowls Dinner and Basket Raffle will be held this year at Leary Elementary School.  This is the second year the event will be held.  The event last year raised over $3,000 to benefit Philabundance. Empty Bowls is an international movement that has participants create ceramic bowls to then be sold at a soup and bread dinner.  All of the students at Leary, over 380, were taught how to make beautiful bowls in art class and then encouraged to donate their bowl and they are given all of the information on how one person can make a huge difference in the world.  A committee made up of parents, teachers and staff are helping to make this year more of a success than last year.

Time: 6 - 8 pm

Cost: $12 per adult ticket
