Canstruction
Canstruction is back, featuring colossal can structures created by competing teams made up of architects and engineers. The teams showcase their talents by designing giant sculptures made entirely out of cans. The exhibit is free and on display at Liberty Place.
At the close of the exhibition, the cans used in the structures will be donated to Philabundance. Canstruction is a national charity that combines the competitive spirit of design with a unique way to help feed hungry people. Canstruction is held in nearly 100 cities across North America.
Canstruction Philadelphia is organized by the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects during National Architecture Week and Design Philadelphia.
